Frequently Asked Questions
Do you handle both criminal defense and personal injury cases?
Yes. McBride Law is one of the few Massachusetts practices that handles both. If you're dealing with a criminal charge and a related civil matter — or simply need an attorney who can advise on both — you don't have to split your representation between two firms.
What areas of Massachusetts do you serve?
I serve clients throughout Massachusetts, from Boston and the surrounding area to every corner of the state. I’ve practiced in every Massachusetts county, so whether your case is in Suffolk, Norfolk, Plymouth, Bristol, Essex, or Middlesex County, I can represent you.
Will I speak directly with the attorney when I call?
Yes. I'm a solo practitioner, which means when you call for a consultation, you speak with me. There's no intake team between you and the attorney handling your case.
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes. Initial consultations are free. For criminal matters, I understand that timing is often urgent — don't wait to reach out if you've been charged or expect to be.
How much does a personal injury case cost to pursue?
Personal injury cases are handled on a contingency fee basis. You pay no attorney's fees unless I recover compensation for you. We discuss the specifics of your case during the free consultation.
